The Hawkesbury Finch Club is a branch of the Finch Society of Australia Inc. and has been established since 1986. Over the years, the club has had a few address changes, but we are now settled at the Castlereagh Community Hall, Castlereagh Road at Castlereagh, near Penrith at the foot of the beautiful Blue Mountains. The club meets at 7.30pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month, except December.

Our venue at the Castlereagh Community Hall, gives us plenty of off-road, secure parking in a relaxed rural setting. On average, our meetings usually attract approx 30 to 35 members, and all new visitors are welcome.

We are proud to be known as the friendly club, due to our relaxed and fun attitude, and combined with the meetings, make an entertaining night. We have a newsletter called "Finch Bizz" (see below for more information) which is provided at each meeting.

Elenbee Bird Seeds is a proud supporter of The Hawkesbury Finch Club, and deliver seed and accessories to our monthly club meetings. Club members wishing to have seed or accessories delivered to the meetings should place their order directly with Elenbee.

> Elenbee Finch Mix
This mix contains Australian grown Siberian millet which replaces the Jap millet. Siberian millet is a much better quality millet, and finches prefer this millet to Jap millet. Cost for 20kg bag is $28.

> Maw
Our Australian grown Maw seed now comes from a cheaper source. Cost is $7 per kg.

> Clifton Finch Mix
This mix has been prepared with the co-operation of Marcus Pollard. Cost for 20kg bag is $28.

> Clifton Finch Tonic Mix
This tonic mix has been prepared with the co-operation of Marcus Pollard. Cost for 5kg bag is $35 or $7 per kg.

The Membership Fees as from 22 August 2007 are:

Pensioner: $15 per year
