The Hawkesbury Finch Club is a branch of the Finch Society of Australia Inc. and has been established since 1986.

Celebrate 40 years with the Hawkesbury Finch Club in 2026 by joining us at one of our monthly meetings.

Established in 1986, the club was formed to unite those dedicated to the keeping and breeding of finches. Whether you’re new to the hobby or a long-time breeder, our monthly meetings offer a welcoming place to learn, share, and be part of a proud 40-year tradition.

We are a branch of the Finch Society of Australia Inc., which has going for over 50 years now, and we are proud to be associated with the other two branches: the Wollongong and Hunter branches.

Our venue at the Castlereagh Community Hall, gives us plenty of off-road, secure parking in a relaxed rural setting. On average, our meetings usually attract approx 30-40 members, and all new visitors are welcome.

We are proud to be known as the friendly club, due to our relaxed and fun attitude, and combined with the meetings, make an entertaining night.
